4th Annual Water Lantern Celebration 2023

Sunday, May 21st

Plattwood Park - Deep River, Connecticut   6:30 pm

Join us for our 4th annual Water Lantern event celebrating individuals of all abilities. Over 400 hundred hand-decorated lanterns inscribed with personal messages and artwork will once again float on the waters of Plattwood Pond to lift up and honor those of all abilities including the many neurodiverse folks that enrich our world.

At Water Lantern, we supply you with everything you need to make your very own eco-friendly lantern to be floated on Plattwood Pond at sunset. There's tasty food, music, and more at this outdoor festivity celebrating the differences that make our community a rich and vibrant one. Register today to reserve your lanterns!

Water Lantern Celebration 2023 is a pay-what-you-can, in-person community event brought to you by A Little Compassion Inc. (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit) and its flagship program, The Nest Coffee House. Our little nonprofit has a big mission to change the lives of young adults with autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and related conditions. When you attend or donate to Water Lantern 2023, you're providing support and event access for the most vulnerable members of our community. Together we change lives!
