Join us for our 6th Annual Lantern Illumination Celebration 2025

Saturday, April 5, 2025
 6:00-8:00 pm

Valley Regional High School - Deep River, Connecticut

Our 6th annual Lantern Illumination Celebration: Many Lights that Glow Together, is a community event which lifts up the local neurodiverse people we serve. Participants at this event will decorate eco-friendly paper lanterns with pictures, poems, and words of hope and add them into a grand display of light for all to see. Here, young people, parents, and peers gather to celebrate minds of all kinds. (This year, we encourage people to decorate their lanterns with word and pictures of things that bring them joy.)  Additionally, this event will showcase the talents of the neurodivergent artists as they share their creativity with the greater community in our Neurodiverse Artists' Showcase. We hope that you will join us in creating this celebration of light and inclusion.

The event is free to all; we request you consider donating to help us make the event accessible as well as support our programs! This community event is brought to you by A Little Compassion Inc. (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit) and its flagship program, The Nest Coffee House. Our little nonprofit has a big mission to change the lives of young adults with autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and related conditions. When you attend or donate to Lantern Illumination Celebration 2025, you're providing support for the most vulnerable members of our community. Together we change lives!
